Jane McNaughton Koch of Dallas, Texas passed away peacefully on August 25, 2023 ar Presbyterian Village North. Jane was born January 29, 1928 in Copperhill, TN, to Clark and Penelope McNaughton. She graduated from Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, VA in 1950 with a major in physical therapy She met her husband Graham R.Ë. Koch while in college and dated through his law school years ar the University of Virginia. They married in 1951 and spent years in Washington, D.C. where Graham accepted a position with the IRS. The IRS transferred the couple to Dallas in 1954 where soon after Graham accepted a position with a young law firm, Akin & Vial. Jane worked as a physical therapist before having two children, Lisa and Rob. She was a long-standing member of Northwood Country Club and was very active In tennis and golf. Jane enjoyed traveling with their couple Friends on numerous golf trips in Colorado and California over the years. She was a member of the Dallas Woman's Club and the Dallas Garden Club. But she especially enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren - Graham, Tyler and Mallory Jones and was a wonderFul grandmother to them. In her later years, she enjoyed time playing bridge with friends at Northwood Country Club.
Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Graham; her beloved daughter, Lisa; her siblings, David McNaughton, Clark McNaughton and Mary Welch of Memphis. She is survived by her son, Graham Robinson "Rob" Koch; son-in-law, James W. Jones and Bonnie Jones; grandchildren, Graham Jones Cocklin and husband, Toben Roland Cocklin, Tyler Randall Jones and Mallory Robinson Jones, all of Dallas, TX; great grandchildren, Lisa Graham Cocklin and Roland Ford Cocklin; nephews, David, Clark and Andy McNaughton; and nieces, Penelope Welch Aviotti and Anne Halloran of Memphis.
Services will be held in the Chapel at Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church at 8011 Douglas Avenue in Dallas on Friday, September 8th at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church or the charity of your choice.
