Tony - you will be greatly missed, my friend.   I still remember vividly when you gave me my first loan commitment letter when I first got into the real estate development business nearly 20 years ago.......which would end up being 1 of many, many more deals we would get done together over the next many years.  

Thank you for your support throughout my real estate career, and for your support of our company through all phases of the real estate cycle.  You always looked at our deals with a "what can we do" attitude even if terms couldn't exactly be what we were hoping for.  That "can do" approach made you special along with your great sense of humor.

I met T in 1980 when I first moved to Dallas and shared an apartment with his frat brother David Zimmer. Zimm told me we where going to play golf with his college buddy that was new to the game. A bunch of beers and bad swings later we become good friends to this day. Not sure his game got much better but what a heart and smile. Always greeting me with “ how you doing Mac ? “.  Rest in peace my fiend. You left a wonderful mark on all you touched.

We all lost a friend .Tony has been a friend for over 50 years ! First in high school at RHS , in college at TCU , and 40 years after college ! Tony was a warm presence ever since I  knew him . Always relaxed comfortable in his own “ skin “ regardless of the setting . Always smiling and offering a big bear hug . He deserves a special place of comfort now , and I know he will .  It is hard to lose a father old or young because we all get just one ! 
We will continue to keep his memory alive and smile for what he added to this earthly world ! Will miss you “ T “   Diane Cunningham  Zimmer 

Big T and I were fraternity brothers at TCU. I remember one summer when we both attended summer school at TCU and lived together at in an apartment complex just off campus. There wasn’t much studying going on but we played tennis everyday and sat by the pool. T had a heart of gold and Diane and I have Tony and Brenda to thank for setting us up on a blind date over 40 years ago. He was the consummate True Gentleman. Miss you brother!  David J Zimmer
