James K Biggs Sr., 109, a long time Dallas resident of Monticello West, died on May 6, 2012. Born on December 5, 1902 in San Marcos, TX, he was a dedicated, active 85 year Mason, the longest serving Mason in Texas history. James was a member of York Rite, Scottish Rite, Eastern Star and the Shrine. James was also a member of HiIlcrest Lodge Dallas and Waltrip Lodge in Houston. A lifelong Christian, James was a member of Highland Park Presbyterian Church, a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and devoted husband of 58 years to Beatrice Coker, who preceded him in death.
Survived by James K. Biggs, Jr. & wife Jane, Houston; Ray Biggs, San Antonio; Pat Davenport, Dallas; March Davenport, Plano, grandchildren: Ken Biggs & wife Cis, Austin; Katherine & Sean McMahon, Dallas; great grandchildren: Summer and Sierra Biggs, Austin; and Cassidy McMahon, Dallas.

Sean McMahon, Leonard Pierce, Elmer Murphy and Scott Brosi.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Sparkman Hillcrest Northwest Hwy Chapel with visitation from 1:00-2:00 pm. Graveside services will take place on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at 2:00 pm at San Marcos Cemetery in San Marcos, TX.
