Jacquline "Jackie" Denise Armstead was born in Dallas, Texas to Bradford Sr. and Lezella Armstead on August 23, 1967. Jackie accepted Christ at an early age and continued her Christian journey at Rapture Better Way Christian Ministries under the leadership of Rev. E.J. Lee. She was a proud product of Duncanville High School, where she made history as the first African American High Hat Dancer and graduated in 1985.
After High School, she worked as a homemaker, baker, and customer service representative.
Jackie was preceded in death by her grandparents; Marvin and Almeta White, William and Katie Armstead; Uncle Kevin white; grandson Deontate Alex Jr., and best friend Yolanda Crowe.
The cherished memories and Jackie's wonderful love will live on in her dear father and mother; Bradford Sr. and Lezella Armstead of Dallas, TX; daughters: Victoria Mathis and Ja'Kaline Evans, both of Dallas, TX; grandson Devontate Alex of Dallas, TX; brother Bradford Armstead Jr. (Christy) of Dallas, TX; uncles: Marvin White Jr. of Los Angeles, CA; Allen White and Ivory Armstead (Mary) both of Dallas, TX; aunts: Joyce and Barbara White both of Dallas, TX and Naomi White of Austin, TX; nephews: Kristian and Trenton Armstead both of Dallas, TX; and special friend Thomas Moten of Dallas, TX; along with a host of cousins, relatives and friends.
