Mr.  Austin will never be forgotten. His walk with The Lord greatly encouraged my husband and I. May God greatly comfort his children, family and friends.

Jackie was my classmate.  I remember him as always smiling, always in a good mood.  He was on my dad's basketball team and a really good athlete.  I am so sorry to hear of his death.  My condolences to his family.                                       Janice Story Ward

I am so sorry to read of Jackie's death.  I haven't seen Him since High School,  so I still think of Him as the tall, strong Basketball Player.  My prayers of Sympathy to all His family.

Mr. Austin ... what can I say about him without taking up 15 years of time. He was my closest friend the last 15 years. I am so sorry for the loss of this family and even as I myself grieve and celebrate his life as well, I offer condolences to the family and also may you be comforted by God's peace, surely he is far better off now and in the place he always longed to be.. with Jesus our Savior. I will miss him a whole lot as there was NOTHING in my life I didn't share with him.. and no one can replace him for me.. I am prayerful that you all will take all the memories and walk away with a legacy that is NEVER FORGOTTEN!



The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that little extra. Uncle Jackie was an extraoooordinary man with the gift of lifting anyone’s spirits. The warmth of his presence could be felt over a thousand miles. He made me feel “seen” which is pretty ironic considering his eyesight, but in his company I felt special. I will eternally feel grateful and will cherish being able to feel that warmth. Though physically he is gone, his spirit and presence continues to ablaze. He HAS left his mark. Well done Uncle Jackie. I love you. 

My prayers and condolence to the family. I've only got to know Mr. Austin for a little over a year and some months. He was my neighbor friend. I knew him as a man with full of life and positive thoughts. He love God and the word of God very much. 
He used to check on me and I will check on him to make sure we was all right. You would never know if he was in pain or not feeling good. His smile and voice would light up the room or any environment that he was in. This has made my heart saddened and suddenly a loss.
I know he was greatly loved also by his family and he loved them also.

I give my condolence to the family of Brother Austin. As I shared  gospels messages over the radio. Brother Austin often tuned in and offered his encouragement and support. Which I was so thankful and encouraged. I rejoice in his transition into the presence of the Lord, where his joy is forever for fulfilled. My prayers are with the Family. 

This was a shock to me. I came to know Jackie a long time ago. I use to go out to their house and ride horses. My condolences to the family. RIP Jackie. You will truly be missed

Uncle Jackie had a big impact and influence on my life. I am grateful for each and every moment I had with him. Our talks will never be forgotten and I know you’re now watching over us everyday. I’m going to miss you dearly. I love you Uncle Jackie 💜

Uncle  jackie was the best person to be around.  He always made you laugh, gave you words  of wisdom in gods  name and put a smile on your face. His spirit was so bright and strong. I will truly miss the funny things he would say and do every time  we were together as a family. It gives me joy and peace to know you are flying high above us watching us all grow forever more . Enjoy being with your heavenly family again  and gods will  I will see you again in paradise. 

My Uncle Jackie will be in my heart forever.  He always gave me encouraging words, sound advice and a big hug!  I’ll miss his smile the most.  He loved his family more than anything and he told us often.  I’ll see you when I get there Uncle Jackie...with love Norma Jean

I had the prestige and honor of caring for this true soldier of Christ. He was a patient of mine, we had good conversations and shared prayer on the only night I had worked with him.  I, only met him once, but his lasting impression will be with me, forevermore.  For someone to meet you, and tell you that they love you because of the Christian spirit, it is so precious.  I had the pleasure of speaking with daughter and granddaughter that morning as I was getting off and shared this, also.  I was saddened to hear of his passing, but, God has him.  I will keep yall in prayer, as well. I, am, also, still the nurse at Daniel Webster Elementary.♥️

Mr. Austin was always full of the joy of the Lord. He was uplifting and always ready to give a Word to edify others and exalt the Lord. May God greatly comfort his family and loved ones. He will surely be missed.
