Grace Marie Sweeney

Grace Marie Sweeney left this earth on April 10, 2021 and took the hand of Christ as He led her directly into heaven. She was born on September 6, 1925 in Philadelphia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Henry Sweeney, in September of 2015. They were married for 63 years.

Grace was very proud of and loved her four sons, Chuck, Steve, John and Bob as well as three daughters- in-law, Nancy, Susan and Mary Ann. She also had 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Grace only had a 9th grade education, yet knew more about life than most. She was a simple woman of grace and understood her purpose in life was to love and honor God. She never tried to impress or pretend to know more than she did. She simply knew what was important. You see, Grace read a number of books in the 70's and 80's that led her to trust Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and Lord. She walked with Him ever since then, read and studied His word and shared with others how much He meant to her, Knowing this day was approaching she wanted more than anything for others to understand what she read in Romans 10:9 which states "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved".

She would want you all to accept and embrace this, so that when you pass from this life you can join her in heaven to love and worship God forever.
