Gladys Holcomb “Mimi” Mollet was born on October 15, 1910 in Bradford, Arkansas, and joined her Lord on January 17, 2012. Preceded in death by husband, Jack, and granddaughter, Kimberly, she is survived by children, Kelli Sander, Diane Allen, John Mollet and their families, including 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Gladys’s 101 years were filled with her smiles, joy for living, and sharing that joy with others. Her whole life and the legacy she has left her family and friends was one of a very deep and special love for each one—a love that transcended every other aspect of her life! Among her happiest years were those spent with faculty, staff, and students at Perkins School of Theology, SMU. Gladys was a lifelong member of Univeristy Park United Methodist Church, and a memorial service will be held there on Saturday morning, January 21, and 11:00. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made to the church.
