He was born to parents Secundino Estrada Flores and Sarah Perez Vidaurri Flores in Ganado, Texas on October 7, 1935.
Our father was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps who served his country proudly from July 7, 1953 till July 6, 1956.
Dad loved the Lord and his church family. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, grandfather and great grandfather. Dad enjoyed cooking and sharing good spicy food with his family, he would spend hours preparing tamales but his favorite meal was cheese enchiladas. When he was able to travel he would load everyone in the car and take off, often just to travel state to state across the USA. He always loaded plenty of water and food just in case they broke down. He always had fun with a smile on his face, he liked joking with everyone and never meet a stranger. Although he did not have a lot, he was always willing to help anyone in need. He was funny, always kidding around, but he was also straight with us all, always honest. He will be immensely missed and will always be remembered for his humor and kindness.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents Secundino and Sarah Flores, wife Sandra Flores, daughters Cindy Chisum and Joy Lewis, son Tai Flores and sisters Elizabeth Moreno, Luisa Guidroz, Mary Carten and Nina Gandy. He is survived by his son/daughter-in-law John and Wanda Flores, son Richard Flores and son Travis Flores, grandchildren Michael Flores, Amanda and Gil Pena and Cheryl Walker,
12 great-grandchildren, a brother David Flores and sister Tonia Nunn.
