Frances dedicated herself to others as an LVN, a job she had dreamed about since a young girl. She enjoyed collectables which included clocks and figurines, most of them were gifted to her by her husband and children. Frances also enjoyed caring for her dogs and she always looked forward to the monthly get togethers with her sisters. She told many stories of growing up as a child riding in the mail truck with her dad during the depression and adventures as a teenager roller skating.
Frances is preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Ray Gordon, Sr.; daughter, JoAnn; son, Clifton Ray, Jr.; parents; sisters, Dorothy, Betty and Norma Jean; brother, Walter Ray. She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Ann and Barbara Kay; son, Bruce J.; 8 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Frances will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2019 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Grove Hill Funeral Home, with services to follow at 12:30PM. A committal service will occur Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at 2:30 PM at DFW National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, Texas 75211.
