Eugene James Bauer Jr.

Gene is survived by his wife Margaret, sons Gene III, Mark, John, James, Matt, grandchildren Asha, Juli, Courtney, Emily, Lily, Noah and Anna. Gene was the first Dallas recipient of the Boy Scout Ad Altare Dei medal. He was a graduate of Jesuit high school of Dallas.

He served in the Air National Guard as well as the US Army Corp of Engineers during the Korean War. He was a retiree of Southwestern Bell.

He was married in St James Church but practiced his faith at several local Catholic Churches over the years. He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic church.

Gene’s faith, love and charity made him a man who will be missed by all his family and friends.
