Garza, Esmeralda Ramirez 66, a long time resident of Garland, passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2012, in Garland. Funeral services will be held at 3pm on Friday, April 13, 2012, at Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Garland, where she was a member. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Rowlett. Rosary will be recited at 7pm on Thursday at Grove Hill Funeral Home's Chapel. Esmeralda was born on November 30, 1945 to the late Jose Guadalupe and Eva (Gaytan) Ramirez and grew up in Robstown. She was preceded in death by a sister, Ernestina Chapa. Those left to cherish her memories include her husband, Lucio Garza; three children: George Garza and wife Rebecca, Lorie Morgan and husband Michael, and Josie Moreno; seven grandchildren: Zotero L. Moreno, Dollyana Mor-eno, Sarah Garza, Hunter Morgan, McKenzie Morgan, Jacob Garza, and Marissa Morgan; one great grandson, Anthony E. Perfecto; a sister, Angelita Cantu; four brothers: Jose Guadalupe Ramirez Jr., Robert Ramirez, David Ramirez, and Enrique Ramirez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
