Emma Louise Duncan was born September 9, 1945, to the parentage of Lonnie Duncan and Annie Frank Stearne, in Dallas, Texas. She received her formal education in the Dallas Public School system. Emma was a member of Golden Gate Missionary Baptist church, where she was affectionately called Mrs. Golden Gate. She was employed many years with the Dallas ISD as a Driver Education teacher until she retired. Emma had a beautiful smile that would lighten and brighten up everyone’s day. She was very energetic and fun to be around. After many years she met and married her teenage sweetheart Donald Zeno on September 11, 2013. She loved being around her family/friends, she was a great cook and loved to entertain, but her pride and joy was loving on her husband, children, grandchildren and her great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a step son Keenan Zeno.
After a full life, rich with love, Emma Louise leaves to cherish her memories a loving husband Donald Zeno, three daughters; Yolanda Samuels, Terri Duncan, Sheree (Darrell) Robbins seven grandchildren; Brandi (Jason) Maxiell, Paige Allen, Payton Samuels, Jayde Penn, Delaney Robbins, Pairs Patterson, Dylan Robbins, one great-grandson Jason Maxiell II, one brother Lonnie Duncan Jr. one step-son Daric Zeno and a step-daughter Shonda Zeno-Johnson, and a host of other relatives and friends.
