It is with deep sorrow and the humble acceptance God’s will, that we announce the passing of our most beloved Elizabeth Escobar, a strong devoted mother, granddaughter, wife, teacher, sister, daughter, niece, cousin. She is survived by her loving husband Hector Yasmany Estrada, her child: Emilia Elizabeth Estrada, her mother, Elizabeth Ramos, Siblings, Eric Luevano, Erwin Luevano, Victoria Cortez, Valeria Cortez, Natalia Cortez, Grandparents, Francisca and Antonio Ramos, numerous dear friends and family.
For over 4 years, Elizabeth valiantly battled lupus, an aggressive autoimmune disease. She chose to endure this fight privately, undergoing numerous treatments, all while remaining true to herself.
Through it all, she never wanted anyone to feel bad for her situation and found a way to fill our lives with love and joy.
We thank you all for your love and support, and we ask for privacy as we grieve and celebrate Elizabeth’s life.
A visitation for Elizabeth will be held Sunday, October 2, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 6300 South R.L., Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75232, followed by a rosary from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
