Elias Jose Roman

Elias J. Roman of Dallas, Texas was born on July 20, 1932, in Cuencamé, Mexico and passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at the age of 92. Elias is preceded in death by his parents, Santiago Roman and Jovita Lara, and his son Santiago Roman.

Prior to his retirement, he worked as an electrician for many years and was recognized among his neighbors for his trade. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help (OLPH) Catholic Church since 1974 where he also served as an usher for several years.

Elias is survived by his loving wife, Minerva and his children – Miguel Roman, Antonio Roman, Francisca Arollo, Jaime Roman, Remigio Roman, Martha Hipolito, Cruz Roman, Mirna Reyes, Nidya Gonzales, Mayra Reyes, Minerva Gonzales and their spouses plus numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Calvary Hill Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, December 12, 2024, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm with a Rosary at 6:30pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am on Friday, December 13, 2024, at Calvary Hill Main Mausoleum North Chapel. Committal will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery immediately following the mass.
