After a two-week battle with kidney, respiratory, and heart failure, he passed
away peacefully, surrounded by the family that he loved and served until the end.
Ed was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. After graduating from the University
of Cincinnati, he served two years active duty in the United States Army. As his
military service was drawing to a close, he met and married the love of his life,
Diane. Together they had two children, Todd and Jeffrey.
Ed was a genuinely honest, dependable, and generous person. He loved his country,
and he was always quick to help others in any way that he could.
What characterized Ed more than anything was selfless dedication to his family. He
put his family first above all else, and taught his sons to do the same. He was
a devoted husband, and a loving, exemplary father. His greatest joy was being
a part of the activities and accomplishments of his children and grandchildren.
A funeral Mass is scheduled for Ed on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Our Lady of Lebanon
Maronite Catholic Church in Lewisville. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a
donation to the church in his memory.
