She was born in Glenwood, Minnesota and was raised in Detroit, Michigan. In 1957, while working in Detroit, she met the love of her life, Lee Maas. They were married for 64 years and had three children, Karen, Eric, and Linda. Lee and Dianne moved their family to Texas where they thrived.
The most important thing to Dianne was raising her children and creating a happy home. She valued her many friendships with a diverse group of friends from all over the country and that shared her many interests. She was fortunate to have traveled the world and enjoyed many adventures during her life. She loved playing golf, skiing, doing volunteer work and spending time with her friends and family dining and socializing. She especially loved having her whole family gathered around her. Dianne is survived by her children Karen Maas, Eric Maas, and Linda Schmidt; her grandchildren Stephen, Jacque, Ally, Sophia, Julian, Jacob and Milly; her great grandchildren JJ, Jack and June.
She will buried at Hillcrest Memorial Park and a celebration of her life will be held at Northwood Country Club on Tuesday, November 7, 2023.
