Dennis Ray Smith, Sr., 66, passed away March 31, 2024 in Dallas, Texas. He was born March 6, 1958 in Ft. Benning, Georgia to Charles and Mary Geneva Smith. Dennis was raised in Killeen, Texas and graduated from Killeen High School in 1976.
Mr. Smith had three children from a previous marriage. He was an Automotive Auction Driver at Manheim where he worked for more than twenty years. In his spare time, Mr. Smith enjoyed watching sports, eating his favorite foods, and being around his family and friends. His family will always remember him as a loving father, grandfather, devoted brother, and great friend.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mary Geneva Smith; sister, Kathryn Smith; brothers, Harry Smith and Charles Smith, Jr.
He is survived by his sisters, Julia Price (Clarence) of Atlanta Georgia, Gladys Nealous (John) of Covington, Georgia, Cynth'ya Frye of Grand Prairie; brother, Vernon Smith (Yolanda) of Columbia, South Carolina; sons, Dennis Smith, Jr. of Arlington, Texas; David Smith (Monica) of Fort Worth, Texas; daughter, Miesha Mosley of Lancaster, Texas; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
