Delia was born on February 28, 1928, in Paris, TX to Martha and Jack Cope. On July 4, 1953, Delia married Irving Thomas, then a Staff Sergeant in the US Air Force. Delia loved playing bingo, watching the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers. Delia is survived by Irving, her loving husband of almost 60 years; five children, Jack Thomas and wife Martha of Mesquite, TX, Terry Thomas of Lowell, MA, Anthony Thomas and wife Terrie of Tampa, FL, Johnny Thomas and wife Pamela of Mesquite, TX and Tina Murphy and husband Thomas of Forney, TX; eleven grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Delia was adored by all, greatly loved and will be sorely missed.
