Clyde was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Melvin Stevenson and Douglas Stevenson. He is survived by his beloved wife, Cathleen Juanita Stevenson; his children, Brian Stevenson (Angie), Pamela Stevenson, Dawn Brooks (Keith), and Regina Lavallais; his sisters, Doris Pipkins and Frances Williams; and his cherished grandchildren, Kyle, Taylor, Mitchell, Beau, and Brian.
Clyde accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized. Throughout his life, he was a devoted member of Singing Hills Baptist Church, where he served as a greeter and was involved with the parking lot committee. He worked at the United States Postal Service in Dallas for 32 years, and after retirement, he dedicated 15 years as a school crossing guard.
Clyde had a passion for fishing, photography, bowling, playing ping pong, and dominoes. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed sharing jokes to bring smiles to those around him. His warmth and humor will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
