Clark Ian Hamilton of Plano, Texas, passed away on August 19, 2022. He was born on January 12, 1955 in Los Angeles, California, to Ian and Lucille Hamilton. The family moved to Toronto, Canada, where he spent his childhood. Growing up, he enjoyed ice skating and a love for the sport of hockey.
Clark attended Notre Dame University on a hockey scholarship, and earned a degree in finance. He played hockey in the National Hockey League, before starting a career in real estate. His career began in Dallas, and he later relocated to Kansas City and New Jersey to develop multi-family apartments.
Clark returned to Dallas in 2017 to be closer to his children and grandchildren. During this time, he met and married his wife, Barrow. He loved spending time with family, and spent many Sunday afternoons bowling with his son, Chase. He was a member of the Christian Business Men’s Connection, and continued to grow his relationship with the Lord through bible study. Clark is survived by his wife, Barrow Hamilton; daughter, Jennifer and her husband, Jordan Adams; son, Chase. Grandchildren, Jaden, Jett and Jax; brother, Kirk; and other beloved family members and countless friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Clark Hamilton Family Trust to benefits the lifelong support of his son, Chase.
