Kathy Lynn Anderson
Kathy passed away at home on May 13, 2024. She is lovingly remembered by her husband and life partner, Chuck Wagner of Richardson, TX, as well as by her many nephews and nieces, who all agree that "Aunt Kathy was the best thing to ever happen to Chuck."
Born on May 27, 1958, Kathy graduated from LV Berkner High School in Richardson, TX, in 1976, where she played flute in the band and earned first chair in the highly awarded State "Honor Band." Kathy dedicated over 30 years of her life as a flight attendant with Southwest Airlines, retiring in 2015.
Kathy’s gentle and reserved nature complemented Chuck’s outgoing personality perfectly. Known for her kind heart, she always prioritized the needs of others. A devoted daughter and sister, Kathy was extremely close to her mother and brother, who preceded her in death. She also had a deep love for animals, frequently sharing her home with 2-3 dogs and various birds.
Charles (Chuck) Douglas Wagner Jr.
Chuck passed away on October 20, 2024, at Medical City-Dallas. He was born on June 24, 1956, at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL. Chuck is survived by his son, CD Wagner of Iowa Park, TX; his granddaughter, Gentry; and his brothers, David Wagner of Lago Vista, TX, and Cory Wagner of McKinney, TX.
A graduate of LV Berkner High School in Richardson, TX, Class of 1974, Chuck played bass clarinet in the band and was honored to serve as Band President. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, where he held various responsibilities throughout his military career.
An accomplished bowler, Chuck earned his PBA Card and participated in numerous Regional PBA Events. A highlight of his bowling career was a record-setting performance at a PBA event in Colorado Springs, where he achieved a remarkable series of scores: 300, 300, 245, and 277.
Chuck had a friendly demeanor and a talent for making friends wherever he went, often sharing his “joke of the day.” He was passionate about music trivia and loved attending concerts, always finding a way to get backstage and share memorable stories.
In lieu of flowers, the families request that donations be made to your local SPCA in memory of Kathy and Chuck.
A memorial service for Chuck & Kathy will be held Saturday, November 16, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home, 7990 President George Bush, Dallas, TX 75252.
