Carol Jane Brittian of Dallas, Texas, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was born to Pedro Longoria and the late Mary Alice Longoria on May 18, 1943 in Austin, Texas. Carol attended the University of North Texas. Carol was a loving wife and stay at home mother, focusing her time and attention on raising her children, Ronda and Michael, and caring for her dog, Bo. She worked as a volunteer for their schools and assisted with many church activities. Carol was a long time parishioner and active member of All Saints Catholic Church and most recently Christ the King Catholic Church. Carol was devoted to her faith, and she was an example of Christ’s love to all she met. Carol loved to spend quality time with her family especially her father, children and grandchildren. She was a voracious reader and enjoyed knitting and playing with her beloved dog, Winnie. Carol will be remembered for her generous spirit, her loving nature, her vivacious laugh and her faithful devotion to the Lord and her family. Carol is survived by her father, Pedro Longoria of Ft. Worth, Texas; her two children, Ronda Brittian Ramadan and husband Omar of Petaluma, California and Michael Wayne Brittian and wife Lucy of Dallas, Texas; and her five precious grandchildren, Grace, Collin and Ashton Ramadan, and Will and Ben Brittian.
