Carmen Bustamante Mesa, 82, was born in Uvalde, Texas on July 16, 1933 to Pedro Hill Bustamante and Cotilde Reyes Bustamante. She was away in the comfort of her home in Dallas, Texas on February 26, 2016. She is loved and will be greatly missed by all those whose heart she touched.
She is survived by her daughters, Olivia Mesa, Linda Mesa, Sylvia Braziel, Lisa Mesa-Rogers; sons, Louis Mesa-Wilson and Pablo Mesa; granddaughters, Patricia Sockwell, Felicia Mesa and Merina Mesa; grandsons, Damien Mesa, Fernando Landeros, Jesse Carrillo, Elijah Mesa, Preston Rogers, Jonas Rogers, Christian Mesa-Arizmendiz, and David Braziel; great-granddaughters, Briana Mesa, Sonya Mesa, Jessie Carrillo, Serenity Rosario, Catalaya Mesa, Faith Landeros, and Adriana Landeros; great-grandsons, Damien Mesa, Jr., Sportland Mesa, Noah Mesa Lopez, Colin Sockwell, Isaac Sockwell; sisters, Elida Bustamante, Estella Villegas, Delia Eisenburg; brothers, Santos Bustamante, John Bustamante, Rene Bustamante, Pedro Bustamante, Jr.; Nieces, Virginia Hull, Dora Bustamante, Theresa Garnier, Johanna Becker, Elizabeth Villegas, Rebecca Villegas, Sonya Villegas, Lori Ann Villegas, Elvia Villegas; nephews, Michael Rodriguez, David Becker, Jacob Becker, Ray Villegas, Ray Villegas, Paul Villegas, Ernest Villegas, Lee Smith, John Jay Smith and Christopher Bustamante. She joins her beloved husband Louis Martinez Mesa to be with Our Lord and Savior.

The Mesa Family invites you in remembering and celebrating the life of Carmen. Visitation will be held in the Calvary Hill Funeral Home chapel on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 between 5PM and 9PM, with the Holy Rosary recited at 7PM. The Liturgy of the Word will be held in the Calvary Hill Funeral Home chapel on March 2, 2016 at 2PM, with the Committal to follow at the Calvary Hill Cemetery.
