Carl Bryan Moreland

Carl Bryan Moreland, age 79, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2012, at his daughter’s home surrounded in love. He was born on September 14, 1933, in Graham, TX to Carl and Doris Moreland. He is survived by his loving wife, Janice Moreland of Plano, TX; children, Carl Bryan Moreland, Jr. and wife Elaine of McKinney, TX, John Kelly Moreland and wife Rhonda of Blue Ridge, TX, Jimmy Joe Moreland and wife Aimee of McKinney, TX, Alisa Marie Dean and husband Darrell of Josephine, TX; brother, John Moreland and wife Shirley of Midland, TX; 9 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; niece and nephew; and many extended friends and family. Carl graduated from Monahans High School and was a graduate of the University of North Texas. He was a proud veteran who served in the United States Marine Corps. Carl had a love for old cars, eating, and spending time on the farm. He loved to be with family and friends and was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and friend to many. He will be dearly missed by all. Visitation will be held at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home on Sunday, September 30, 2012, from 2:00-4:00 pm. A Celebration of Carl’s life will be held at the family home following the visitation. Graveside Service will be held on Monday, October 1, 2012, at 12:30 pm at the Dallas/Ft.
