We are assembled today to commit the mortal remains of a beautiful soul to their final resting place with everyone gathered. This is not a funeral at which we mourn, but rather a service of remembrance of La gran señora Beatriz Oliva Munoz.
On the 7th of October, 1958 in Salvatierra Gto. MX, the world was graced in the most wonderful way, by the birth of a beautiful girl who became to be an extraordinary woman, Beatriz Oliva Munoz. Daughter of Reina and sibling to Leopoldo, Arnulfo, Maria, Martha, and Carmina. A wife to Jose Ramon Munoz Alba. A beloved mother of Erika, Claudia, Adriana and Veronica. Grandmother of Anfeernee, Kenneth, Adriano, Branden, Jesus, Lukah, Alyssa and Genesis. Lastly, a great grandmother to Toby.
Beatriz, during her youth she has met many people that became a huge part of her life. Many amazing memories that if you were to ask everyone the stories, you would be amazed by the amazing person with beautiful soul she has been. During those years she met Jose, which soon became her husband Jose Ramon Munoz Alba, May he rest in peace. Their marriage and life was not perfect but they stood together and created an extraordinary family that continues to grow and unite with great strength.
Beatriz has always been a caring soul and a hard worker. She has done many work to ensure she will provide for her family. One skill that she has loved, and continued until her final days was to be a baker and cake decorator. With her skill she has made many families enjoy her delicious cakes and pastries. She has connected with many people and has ordered cakes from her for years. It will fill her heart with joy and love to make our cakes for our birthdays and events. She always found a way to bring joy and connect to others by her talent and great heart. We will always savor and remember the taste of her pastries and cakes as we will no longer have them made by her hands and love.
The last travel comes without warning, without preparation. And at times it does not allow us to say our final goodbyes, and we leave without a good bye, without our last hug, without our last kiss, our last I love you and our last I’m sorry. The last travel doesn’t care if you are asleep, awake, whether naked or dressed. Whether if you are ready or not, it comes. And with this you go.
We all feel heart broken, we all feel empty and lost. But we know that this brings her peace. To no more pain, no more suffering, and no more stress. To unite with her loved ones and be protected by God. We can try to heal in our way and it may not be today or tomorrow but it will happen. But don’t forget to pray for her and to honor her in our heart and memories so she may continue to live forever by the ones who loved her the most. We love you so much Mama Bety and we are lost without you. We ask for you and papa Ramon to be with us always.
