Barbara Jean Hawkins, age 83 passed away on December 1, 2020. Barbara was born on February 20, 1937 in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. She graduated from Tishomingo High School. Barbara married John Edward Hawkins on June 21, 1956. She has a passion for gardening.
Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, John Hawkins; and parents, Thomas J. Hairell and Margaret Boyd Hairell. She is survived by her children, Pamela Jean Percival, Kenneth Hawkins (Alba), and Daryl Hawkins (Rachel); grandchildren, Jarrad, Nathan, Rebekah, Miriam, and Kathryn; great-grandchildren, Serenity, Savanah, Cheyene, Jaelin, Gabby, Khloe, and Ethan; and siblings, Nora Foote, Gwen Clark, Bobbie McKay, Patsy Christiansen, Elaine Rhoades, and Raymond Hairell.
A funeral mass for Barbara will be held Friday, December 4, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 1305 Damascus Rd, Rockwall, TX 75087. Following the funeral mass will be an interment at Restland Cemetery, 13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75243.
