Antonia Martinez

Antonia Martinez, age 83, of Dallas, Texas passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2023. She was born on July 6, 1939 in Saltio Coahuila, Mexico to Aviles Hernandez and Esperanza Zamarron and was raised in La Colonia, Buena Vista. She married Domingo Martinez in 1953 and the couple had ten children and was a mother and housewife.

In her spare time Antonia enjoyed playing the loteria, gambling at the casino, playing candy crush, watching novelas and teaching her great-grandkids how to cook. Her family and friends will always remember her as a fighter.

Antonia is preceded in death by Domingo Martinez, Jose Martinez, Teresa Sierra and Martha Martinez. Left to cherish her memory is Domingo Martinez, Jr., Marcos Martinez, Ruben Martinez, Ricardo Martinez, Grizelda Martinez, Isabel Martin, Rosa Guerra and a host of extended family members and friends.

A visitation for Antonia will be held Tuesday, June 20, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Grove Hill Funeral Home, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, Texas 75228. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at 2:00 PM, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, Texas 75228. A committal service will occur Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at Grove Hill Memorial Park, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, Texas 75228.
