Andres "Pelon" Ponciano-Gonzalez

Andres “Pelon” Ponciano Gonzalez, age 30, passed away on January 29th 2022 in San Marcos, TX. He was born on June 19th 1991 in Dallas, TX to Andres Ponciano and Maria Elena Gonzalez. Pelon was raised in Dallas, TX and graduated from Bryan Adams High School in 2010.

Pelon became engaged to Monica Hernandez, the love of his life, last year in 2021. In his spare time, Pelon enjoyed listening to corridos, watching anime, working on his truck, collecting firearms, and playing video games. He enjoyed grilling fajitas and spending time with his beloved friends and family. Pelon dearly enjoyed bringing his fiancé out to eat at Taquero Mucho.

Pelon will always be remembered as a kind and generous person to his friends and family. He had a passion for helping people and an unforgettable, contagious smile.

Pelon is preceded in death by both of his grandfathers, Adelaido Ponciano and Jesus Gonzalez. He is survived by his fiancée Monica Hernandez, parents Andres Ponciano and Maria Gonzalez. His three sisters, Juanita Sanchez and brother in law Luis Montiel, his nephews Nathan and Abdiel, Andreina Ponciano-Guevara and his brother-in-law Jose Antonio Guevara and niece Sarah, and Yecenia Ponciano. He also leaves behind his grandmothers Antonia Gonzalez and Maria Isabel Ponciano as well as his future in-laws Noe and Maria Hernandez. Pelon will be fondly remembered as well by his many aunts and uncles; Rosa and Felix Rayas, Emilio and Martha Ponciano, Jose de Jesus Gonzalez, Cecilio and Alicia Ponciano, Guadalupe Ponciano, Adelaido Ponciano, Leopoldo Ponciano and Marbella Leal Cortez, Maria Ponciano and Jesus Salazar as well as numerous cousins and dear friends.
