Alicia V. Rodriguez

Alicia V. Rodriguez of Dallas, Texas, passed away on April 28, 2014 at the age of 62 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 12, 1951 in Brownsville, Texas to Amado Vega and Josefina Cordova. Alicia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend and very much loved enjoying time with her family. Having been blessed with 62 years of life, Alicia leaves an indelible mark on the hearts of her family and everyone who she met.

Alicia is preceded in death by her parents, Josefina and Amado Vega; Brother, Amado Vega and her beloved pet, Coco.

She is survived and lovingly remembered by her husband, Gilivaldo Rodriguez; Children, Mary Vega, Irene Martinez, Vidal Carrillo, Linda Rodriguez, Gilivaldo Rodriguez, Jr., Jose Angel Rodriguez and Ashley Rodriguez; Siblings, Juanita Astorga and Joel Cordova;grandchildren, Jessica Merlos, Vanessa Carrillo, Daniel Lopez, Priscilla Carrillo, Manuel Martinez, Jeovoni Martinez, Kennedie Pickron, Preston Pickron, Kennedy Pickron, Heaven Vega, Michael Wheeler, Jasmine Wheeler, Anthony Lucas, Jose Angel Rodriguez Jr., Alyssa Jeannette Rodriguez, Andrew Rodriguez, Nathan Rodriguez, Isaiah Rodriguez, Dominic Romero, Valerie Romero, Crystal Romero, Vidal Carrillo III, Nicholas Carrillo, Tony Jacob Carrillo, and Hailey Carrillo; great grandchild, Jermiah Merlos and nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at a visitation on Thursday, May 1, 2014 from 12:00 P.M – 8:00 P.M. at Calvary Hill Funeral Home Chapel in Dallas, Texas, with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, May 2, 2014 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, 4015 S. Hampton, Dallas, TX, celebrated by Rev. Anibal Adorno. Interment will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
