Alex Cristian Gonzalez

Alex was born on January 2, 1980 to Catalina McGlothlin, in Mexico. After graduating from Waxahachie High School in 1998, Alex attended Northwood University before launching a successful 20 year career in Financial Services.

In 2008, Alex met Jessica at Drive Financial. Alex and Jessica created a beautiful family, and are forever grateful for the joy brought by their six children: Cristian, Savahna, Alexis, Adrian, Julian and Gabriela, and their grandchild, Luca.

Alex is predeceased by his daughter, Lilliana, and grandmother, Julia Guzman. He leaves behind his brother, Joseph Gonzalez, and sister, Julia McGlothlin.

Alex was kind, caring, funny, and had a passion for helping people. During his 20 year career he helped many launch their careers and was motivated by opening up opportunities for others to succeed. Alex enjoyed spending time with his big family, forming core memories with his children, celebrating the growth of his career and personal wins with Jessica.

There is no doubt that Alex’s passing creates a hole in the hearts of those who loved him, but the commitment he showed to each of his loved ones will carry on as his legacy.

A visitation for Alex will be held Friday, March 8, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 6300 South R.L.Thornton Frwy, Dallas, TX 75232.

A rosary will occur Friday, March 8, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, 6300 South R.L.Thornton Frwy, Dallas, TX 75232.

A funeral mass will occur Saturday, March 9, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 6300 South R.L.Thornton Frwy, Dallas, TX 75232.
