Barbara Garrison

Barbara Ann McGee Garrison, age 79, of Lincolnton and formerly of Dallas, passed away at her home Sunday, December 12, 2010. Mrs. Garrison was born in Gaston County and was the daughter of the late Clarence Thomas and Allie Ballard McGee.

Mrs. Garrison was a member of Hardin Baptist Church and retired as an Inspector with Kings Point Knitting Mills.

Mrs. Garrison is survived by two daughters, Donna Garrison of Lowell, Leslie Ellis and husband Phillip of Lincolnton; two brothers, Dal McGee and wife Joyce of Dallas, Paul McGee and wife Lou of Bessemer City; four grandchildren, Kelli Gunckle and Meagan Pearson of Lowell, Elizabeth Ellis and Christopher Ellis of Lincolnton.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 P. M. to 8:00 P. M. Tuesday at Dallas Funeral Home, Dallas.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Wednesday at the Dallas Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Raymond Johns and Rev. Scott Mann officiating.

Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.

Mrs. Garrison was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 37 years, Ralph Reeves Garrison.
