Maria(Mary) Vlahos Woloschinowisch

Maria(Mary) Vlahos Woloschinowisch, age 95, of Los Angeles, California passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2022. Mary was born in Makrinitisa Volos, Greece in 1927 and moved to Egypt in 1936. In December of 1966 Mary immigrated with her husband Carl to Los Angeles California where they joined the St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Community. Mary was active at St. Sophia and was a member of their Philoptochos Ladies Society and the Daughters of Penelope. She is survived by her sisters Roxane Mansoor and Georgia Ferendinos and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for Maria(Mary) will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 1324 S. Normandie Ave. Ste 28, Los Angeles, CA 90006. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Holy Cross Cemetery, 5835 W. Slauson Ave., Culver City, CA 90230.
