John Herbert Hull Sr.

John Herbert Hull, Sr. “Pop Pop” passed away at his residence Sunday, July 14, 2013. John was born to William Taylor Hull and Esther Tatro Hull in Springdale, CT; served his country in the U.S. Army and was a master plumber. John was owner/operator retired from H&H Plumbing.

Surviving Mr. Hull is his wife, Shelby Hull of Etlan, VA; his children, Tammy Ramey (Wayne) of Culpeper, VA, John H. Hull, Jr. (Kimberly) of Madison, VA, Shane E. Hull (Mary M.) of Culpeper, VA, Crissy Revell (John) of Japan and Sherry Kelly (Sam) of Stanardsville, VA; his siblings, Marion Lash of Wilmington, NC and Eleanor Lisco (Frank, who was more like a brother than a brother in law) of Milford, CT; his grandchildren, Kelly Jo VanderWall, Anthony Ramey, John H. Hull, III, Kristen Dye, Destany Hull, Sadie Miller, Samantha Ramey, Cpl. Josh Dye, Alexis Hull, Christian Revell and Nicholas Revell and nine great-grandchildren. Also, there are many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Ella S. Hull, and his siblings, Alice Hull, Gertrude Merriam, Margaret Hull, Frances Smeriglio, Dorothy Sullivan, Bessie Ritter, William Hull, Norman Hull and Edward Hull.

Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Clore-English Funeral Home, Friday, July 19, 2013 at 12:00 noon. Interment will be in the Culpeper National Cemetery, U.S. Ave. with military honors provided by the American legion Post 330 and V.F.W. Post 2524 Honor Guards.

The family will receive friends Thursday, July 18, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Clore-English Funeral Home.
