Funeral services for Sylvia Denise Tyson, 54, of Garden City will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, Bro. James Robertson officiating, with burial in Laodicea Cemetery.
Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Tyson died Monday, April 30, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born May 15, 1957. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard McBrayer; her husband, Larry Tyson; a brother, Jerry McBrayer; her stepfather, Bob Walker; and her stepmother, Marie McBrayer.
Survivors include a son, Donald Lee (Laura) Tyson; a daughter, Jana Thomas; her parents, Gerald and Edna Hardin; two brothers, Joey Mark (Teresa) McBrayer and Roger Dale (Carolyn) McBrayer; a sister, Patricia D. (Tom) Brown; Two Step-Sisters: Lavonda (Craig) Hughes and Paula (Rick) Barnett, five grandchildren, Kristy Lawrence, Bailey and Noah Thomas, Abrey Norman and Zachary Tyson; and two great-grandchildren, Colby Lawrence and Cody Lawrence.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday.
