She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Verlon Moody; sister, Elna Graves; brothers: Allen & Kinney Graves and her parents: Dewey & Cary Calvert Graves.

She is survived by: daughters: Deborah Haynie (Donnie), Joyce White (Butch), Phyllis Brewer (Joe), Pam Calvert, & Lynn Moody; son, Kevin Moody (Valerie); sisters: Mavery Edgeworth & Linda Jackson (Leroy); brother, Gene Graves (Peggy); grandchildren: Leigh Ann Haynie Carr (Doug), Lori Haynie Beams (Adam), Jessica White Dyson (Steve), Julie White McCain (Jeff), Karie White Tingle (Britt), Katy White Tilley (Justin), Derek Calvert (Tori), Nathan Calvert (Melanie), Trey Moody, & Abby Moody; and great grandchildren: Kate, Brantley, Olivia, Sam, Eli, Jennifer, Jack, Brylee, Kloie, Xander, Bella, Leah, Wesley, Kendall, & Alex.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Moss Service Funeral Home. The celebration of Mrs. Moody’s life will be at 11:00 A.M. at Sardis Baptist Church on Thursday, October 26, 2017; interment will follow in Ryan’s Creek cemetery.
