Kathryn McDaniel Cobb of Cullman died November 27 at the age of 93. She was born in Joppa, Ala., March 17, 1920. She was preceded in death by her husband, Buell E. Cobb, Sr., by her parents and by three brothers. She is survived by her sons Buell E. Cobb, Jr. (Mary Elliott), William Joseph Cobb (Sue Bell), James Michael Cobb (Jan Cook) and Gary Hill Cobb, by grandchildren Buell E. Cobb III, William Whitman Cobb (Stephanie), Benjamin Wilson Cobb, Andrew Joseph Cobb (Ellen), Mary Katherine Adams (David), Amanda Michelle Cobb, Laura Elizabeth Sparks (Jason) and Caitlin Elizabeth Cobb, by seven great-grandchildren, by five sisters, and by numerous nieces and nephews. She was much loved by her family and many friends, and her quiet, gracious demeanor will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held at Moss Funeral Service in Cullman on Monday, December 2, at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00. Burial will follow at the Cullman cemetery.
