Mr. Ira Kenneth Freeman

Funeral Services for Mr. Ira Kenneth Freeman, age 75 of Cullman, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 24, 2014 in the Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Gene Bradford and Rev. Carol Drinkard officiating.

Mr. Freeman was born in Cullman County on December 6, 1938 to the late Warner J. & Grace Irene Manard Freeman, he passed away on April 20, 2014, at his residence surrounded by family. Kenneth retired from Coke-Cola with 38 years of service, and in his free time he enjoyed camping, fishing & hunting, and was proud of his many years spent in Fairview.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one son, Michael Eugene Freeman; one sister and three brothers.

Survivors include his Daughter – Anita F. Smith; 2 – Sons – Anthony Dwight (Glenda) Freeman & Kenneth Shane Freeman; 2 - Sisters – Geneva South & Shirley Rexford; one Brother – Jr. Freeman; his Wife – Helen B. Nix Freeman; and 2 – Step-Sons – Bruce (Connie) Brown & Greg (Rose Mary) Brown; and Numerous Grandchildren & Great-Grandchildren.

The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Thursday, April 24, 2014 from 12:00 p.m. until the service begins at 2:00 p.m.
