I’ve always loved the way you smiled when you made silly jokes. I remember us planting the rose bush next to your mailbox and many more plants next to the house. I’ll always remember the picture that you had taken of me in the field filled with flowers on our plane ride. You were smart, loving, playful, caring, fun, beautiful, I don’t think that you feared anything, hard working and one of a kind women and grandmother. I always thought of you as my “cool” grandmother. You always had your hair and makeup done. I wish that you could have been with us longer meaning more time to visit, more phone calls, more laughs, more smiles, and more hugs. Not everyone gets a Me-momma like you, you were one of a kind. I’m thankful that I got to spend the time I did with you, I wished it could have been more. Let your spirit be in peace and one with the Lord. You will forever be loved and missed.

Just wanted to say I’m sorry for y’all’s loss and I wish you all comfort and peace during this time! May God bless you all.....

We were brought together in this lifetime by a series of events and those events made you my grandmother or Me-Momma.  

Throughout the years, we celebrated birthdays and holidays, making some good memories along the way. 

We were never blood related but we were family. 
I know that all will miss you that knew you. 

Spread your wings and fly!

Gail Mauldin was a Great Friend of Mine. She was Beautiful on the inside and the out. There is no doubt she is in heaven Dancing with Jesus. Evertime you seen her she had a big Pretty Smile on her Face. She was the most caring, sweet, strong,smart,Funny person you had ever met. Who loved Jesus. She would have done anything for anyone. She had a Heart of gold! My memory's of you will always be with me wherever I go. I feel so blessed and so thankful for having you in my life. I'm going to miss you more than words can say! I Know you are at peace now... You will always hold a special place in my heart. Love Felisha.

Gail was a very kind and Loving Lady. She never met a Stranger I have known her 29 years . She was the same Christian glowing person since the first day I met her. Very dear and sweet she holds a special place in my heart. I love her very very much. She will be greatly missed. She loved her Family very much. Love Jeanette

As I reflect on my grandmother's passing, I can only think of the force she was to be reckoned with. Beautiful, passionate, ambitious, and a woman of confidence are words I use to describe her. She was a lioness. If I cannot think of anything else I received from her, I know that I embody those very traits that will carry me on through the rest of my life. To be virtuous and altruistic to our fellow mankind, but free of fear against our seen and unseen enemies is what she has bestowed upon me to remember, always. She was not perfect, as none of us are; but all God has asked of us is that we do the very best we can. And she did. I will not say goodbye, in hopes that we meet again.

I remember when I was very little and my mom would take me up to cullman to see Memama. We’d always stop at Jack’s and listen to the radio she showed me a lot of songs she liked to listen to! I was little but I still remember it. Even though it’s a small memory it was one of my favorites. I won’t forget when we’d color pictures together she really helped me wanting to get into arts and crafts! Even though they were scribbles sometimes she’d always make me happy about them that I did good on drawing or creating something. She had a talented little hand too and would help draw a lot and color! I will always love my Memama. Our Memama. Love you Memama.

My memories of you are my whole life and you being part of it.  I’m grateful God chose you as my mother.  I never dreamed it would be this hard loosing you and here I am crying almost daily all day long well into night.  As it’s said it’ll get easier with time but mom I will always have a broken heart because you no longer walk this earth but knowing you are with God and Jesus Christ now and are safe, protected and finally at peace helps me accept it somewhat better. Fly High Mom. I’ll see you on the other side one day. I LOVE YOU!! 💚 
Keith loves and misses you too. Don’t worry about him I got him, he’s my brother and the load you carried for him I will gladly accept. As the song goes “He ain’t heavy he’s my brother”.  He said peace be with you now. With all of our love Mom we say so long till next time, not good bye. 💫
