Mrs. Lackey was a longtime, faithful member of the First Presbyterian Church. She adored her family, especially her grandchildren who lovingly called her “Meow”. She dressed many women in Cullman for over forty years as owner and operator of Jen-Ann Dress Shoppe, located in the Cullman Shopping Center.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Paul Lackey; her parents; son, Mitchell Lackey and brothers: Jimmy Sparks and Bill Sparks.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters: Paulette (Riley) Trimble and Donna (Jerry) Hendrix; grandchildren: Jamie Oliver, Riley Trimble III, Eli (Sabrina) Trimble and Sara McClendon; great grandchildren: Austin Oliver, Keaton Oliver, Josie Oliver, Taylor Trimble, Walker Trimble, Ayden Trimble, Bentley McClendon and Logan McClendon; sister, Judy Roberson; nephew, Daryl (Beki) Moon and great niece and nephews: Cele, Phoebe and Ian Moon.
Graveside Services will be held at East Point Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. David Palmer officiating. Due to the Covid19 restrictions, masks are required and social distancing will be practiced. Moss Service Funeral Home directing.
The family expresses a deep gratitude to the staff of The Folsom Center for the loving care given to our mother for the past four years.
