I was very saddened to hear of the passing of Donnie. Donnie was such an inspiration to me. When I was employed at H.N.R.C., he would sit with me everyday in my office. It hurt my heart to have to leave him behind when I was offered another job. Donnie and I laughed and cut up everyday. We shared many of lifes memories. He knew how to make people laugh. Due to COVID I was unable to come by and see him but he remained on my mind everyday. I am very sorry for the family's loss. I know Donnie was loved and cherished very much by them; he was by so many. Donnie will forever be in my heart. My prayers and love to his family. 

I work in the kitchen at HNRC on the night shift.My son,Spenser, went to school at Welti with Haley.My mother is also a resident in the nursing home.Donnie use to get a bag of pop corn and come in momma's room and sit on her bed and they would eat the whole bag of popcorn.He came in a lot of times when we were there with grand- children and of course he picked at them while they helped eat the popcorn.So sorry to hear he is gone but he kept saying the last few days he was ready to go home.I would take him a bag of Cheetos if I saw him out rolling around or put him a bag on his supper tray.He loved him some Cheetos.We will all miss him on the night crew in the kitchen as well as the others that took care of him.We will keep you in our prayers .

He was so sweet. When my dad was in the nursing home my dad  knew donny. We got to talking and he knew more about my family than I did. I had planned on going and picking his brain some more but because of the Covid I was unable too. My thoughts and prayers are with you.  Tina Weeks
