Clara Ann Bowen

Graveside Services for Clara Ann Bowen, age 70 of Cullman, who passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020, will be at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Simcoe Baptist Cemetery. Moss Service Funeral Home directing.

Ms. Bowen grew up in Fairview and attended the University of Montevallo. She was an accountant by profession and spent most of her career as a Political Media Buyer for the elections. Her job consisted of calling the radio and television stations where the election was being held and procuring the best rates for the ads. Clara loved watching and attending the Atlanta Braves games, her favorite player was Gene Garber who was a relief pitcher. She lived in Atlanta for 20 years but also lived in Nashville and New Orleans. She particularly loved the Mardi Gras festivities in New Orleans. She enjoyed traveling and while traveling to New York, she did a film junket with Kris Kristofferson.

Her parents: Joseph and Mamie Nicholas Bowen preceded her in death as well as her sister, Julie Elizabeth Bowen.

She is survived by her son, Stacey Huffman; grandchildren: Cade Hardin, Keagan Hardin, Macey Huffman and Jase Huffman; sisters: Mary (David) Nunnelley, Marlene (James) Masters and Darlene (Mike) Hudson and brothers: William (Joannie) Bowen and Charles (Helen) Bowen.
