Mrs. Carolyn Glen Spradlin Hunter

Funeral Services for Carolyn Glen Spradlin Hunter, 80 of Cullman, will be on Friday, April 23, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Moss Service Funeral Home Chapel, Bro. Brandon Pugh and Bro. Ralph Andrews officiating, with interment in Cullman Memory Gardens.

Moss Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Hunter passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born May 31, 1929 in Cullman, Alabama to Oscar Stidham and Myrtie Mae Farmer Spradlin. Carolyn worked many years at Onetia Knitting Mills.

She was preceded in death by her parents O.S. "Doc" Spradlin and Myrtie Spradlin; a son Robert Micha Hunter; three brothers, Homer L. Spradlin, James H. "Poke" Spradlin and H.H. "Hoot" Spradlin; and two sisters, Lois Spradlin Reid and Cleo Spradlin.

Survivors include one son, Donald L. Hunter (Linda) of Cullman; two daughters, Wanda Linker (Michael) of Montgomery, and Kathy Byrd (Freddie) of Cullman; nine grandchildren, Bama Hunter Turner (Bryan), Leslie Linker Hooks (Toye), Tracy Byrd Pugh (Brandon), Carla hunter Stricklin (Danny), Kevin Byrd (Carrie), Lindsey Linker Baker (Jared), josh Hunter, bruce Hunter, and Daniel Byrd; 15 great-grandchildren, David and Alex Turner; noah and Austin Stricklin; Chelsea and Riley Hooks; Michael Baker; Britt, Brook, Breanna, Brayden and Braxton Pugh; Aaron and Leah Byrd; Kinsley Hunter and many beloved nieces and other family members.

Visitation will be at Moss Service Funeral Home from 6:00 to 9:00 on Thursday, April 22.

The family would like to thank the staff of 2nd floor - Cullman Long Term Care and Rehab.
