I’ve known Blair for.over 50 years.
There is no better God fearing man.
He was my friend and I loved him.  He is in my heart forever and I will always miss him.  Truly one of a kind.

I first met Jonathan in 5th grade, and we started calling each other on the phone. When I would call Jonathan to talk on the phone and Blair would answer, I would ask if Jonathan was home or could he come to the phone, Blair would always reply with "that's a negative" or "affirmative." I was so confused at 11 years old what he meant at first. Once I figured it out (Jonathan may have had to explain it to me), I thought it was funny. I loved Jonathan, his parents, and the strength of their entire family. My prayers are with Carolyn and Jessica.

I always, always knew Blair would come hand out walking fast to greet me and mine anytime we went to Sulphur Springs Church. I will miss him there and going by the house in whatever conveyance he decided to use for the day: horse, tractor, 4 wheeler, truck etc. He always waved!  RIP Blair. U were a good  Southern, Christian man and our lives were enriched just knowing you!  Prayers Carolyn, Jessica and Kathy going up!

Blair was a kind, loving soul. A good Christian. Lindon and I loved him.  Carolyn was my very best friend in high school. We shared many good times with Blair and Carolyn. Love and prayers for Carolyn and Jessica and all the family. Charlotte & Lindon 

We are so sorry for your loss. It was a blessing to see him at the Men’s Prayer Group on Thursday’s, when he was able to attend. Our thoughts & prayers are with you all. He will leave a huge void in so many life’s. He was a blessing to many. 

One of the greatest men I’ve ever known.  Tragically lost his 18 year old son, daughter born with sickness, the man never wavered, kept persevering and serving Jesus. Enjoyed serving with him at SS. Always supportive, always encouraging. I’ve missed him the last couple of years since I left SS and will miss him more now, but  I’m glad he’s reunited with Jonathan. Look forward to seeing him again! Praying for the family!

What wonderful memories I have of the Davis family.  Our families were so close and had so many great times of attending church together.  Blair was a great Christian who would help anyone with whatever he could.  We loved this family so much, Rest In Peace our sweet friend.

Wow. Blair Davis. The first person to meet me at my car on Sunday mornings, open the door for me, and shake my hand to welcome me to church! I don’t think he knew how much I looked forward to each Sunday knowing I’d be greeted by his sweet smiling face and pure joy to see me. Blair and Carolyn have been like parents to us and we will certainly cherish all of the memories we had with them at Sulphur Springs. We love you Brother Blair and we know you are rejoicing with our Savior!!! We are praying for you Mama Carolyn!!!! Love Always!

A true man of God !!! There’s so much that I could say about Blair but none could express what a great man that he was. I know that there is rejoicing in heaven today for he is now home. We love you Blair and you will be truly missed. I know if Blair could leave us with a thought it would be to trust Jesus as your personal lord and savior before it’s late. Thank you Jesus for allowing me to have known and worked with Blair !!!

It would be a unique challenge to say that  anyone in my life was more genuine than Blair Davis.  Blair always cared about how things are going for others.  Being in the military for the last 19 years, I would always know that whenever I was back at Sulphur Springs Baptist Church, I would get a handshake from Blair.  He always asked how the family was doing and would express how happy he was for you.  My fondest memories of Blair would be working in the chicken houses with him and being so excited to get the job done so we could shoot the 22 revolver at coke cans.  Blair is a man of faith, and a great role model for how others should strive to be.  You will be missed. Prayers for Carolyn and Jessica.

Blair is unforgettable. Definitely he and Carolyn are part of what influenced me at a young age.  His enthusiasm and warm greeting will be missed. Pleased to have known Blair, and have him part of my life. Sad for your loss. 

 They are more like family and such a hard loss. It is such a blessing to have known this man for most of my life and my children have known him also! Always enjoyed sharing a birthday with him too! So many memories with this family and Blair will certainly be missed but that voice, way of putting things and the hyper running about will live forever in my heart! Love the Davis family and prayers to all !

So sorry to hear this news.  Carolyn, Jessica, Kathy and family you have our deepest sympathy.  Wish we could visit and express this in person but I know that we are unable to do so.  Blair as well as all the Davis cousins have been special to my family throughout our lifetimes.

All the words in the world could not express what Blair meant to us.  We served in the service together and shared many laughs.  
We continued our close friendship through the years.  We hold in our hearts so many beautiful memories.   Blair was a good and loyal friend to all.  Blair is home and in peace now. 

Carolyn and Jessica will remain in our hearts and prayers.

Blair was a great guy who will be missed by many here at the Sheriff's Office and within his Community.  Being the concerned and caring individual that he was, Blair and his brothers organized what is now known as the Sulpher Springs Neighborhood Watch in 1991.  Blair was a staple at the meetings making sure everyone was doing okay, blessing the food before meals, along with preparing some really unusual but tasty dishes for the Neighborhood Watch meetings, and of course patrolling his community out of concern for his neighbors.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to Blair's  family and friends.  Rest in peace Blair, we will see you again one day soon my brother!

I am so sorry to hear about Blair's  death.  I hope he did not have to suffer.  I have fond memories of Blair and his visits to my office.
