Funeral Services for Mrs. Betty Jo Clay, age 74 of Woodville, will be held on Monday, July 25, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in the Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, with Wayne Chappell officiating. Interment will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. at Cullman City Cemetery.

Mrs. Clay passed away on Friday, July 22, 2011 at Huntsville Hospital. She was born on April 20, 1937 in Marshall County to the late James Flippo and Willie Bell Green Flippo. She retired from Americold with 28 years of service and was a member of Eastside church of Christ in Scottsboro. Betty is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John B. Clay; one sister, Thera Lee Reed; and two brothers, James Earl Flippo and Gene Flippo.
Survivors include one Daughter – Sheila (Larry) Holt; one Son – Steven (Crystal) Clay; five 5 – Grandchildren – Katie (Josh) Overton, Erin Clay, Whitney Thompson, Griffin Holt and Addison Holt; two 2 – Sisters – Frances Little and Willene (Herman) Little; one Brother – Larry (Theresa) Flippo.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, July 25, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
