Mr. Bertis "Bert" Rodgers was born August 25, 1939 to William and Ida Bell McSwain Rogers. He passed away at his residence May 18, 2012. He was 72 years old.
Funeral Services will be held on May 21, 2012 at The Moss Service Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 AM with interment
at Cullman City Cemetery. Rev. Kerry Cleghorn and Rev. Mitchell Williams will officiate.
He is survived by his wife: Mary Sue Bibb Rodgers, A brother: Harold (Shirley) Rodgers, Sisters: Louise Carillo, Aver Brown
and Jaqueline Demonia, and a Host of Nieces and Nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers: Preston Rodgers and Jimmy Rodgers and sisters: Olvia Wix and Alva Caldwell.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to the First United Methodist Church's Tornado Reconstruction Fund.
