Alton Ferrell Reynolds Sr.

Alton Ferrell Reynolds, Sr. of Vinemont, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2019. He was born April 10, 1942 to General Dewey and Jessie Velma Vasser Reynolds. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Gladys Reynolds (Ken) Majoy; brothers: Chester, Virgil (Willie Ruth), Troy (Wanda), Gene (Betty) and Charles Reynolds; and brother-in-law, Curby Trussell.

Mr. Reynolds leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Juanita Yarbrough Reynolds; daughters: Barbara Ann Reynolds McCombs and Kay Collins; sons: Alton Ferrell (Jennifer) Reynolds, Jr., Scotty Reynolds, Steve Murphree, Barry Murphree and Mark Murphree; twelve grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; sister, Barbara Reynolds Trussell; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.

Visitation for Mr. Reynolds will be Saturday, September 21, from 6 – 8 p.m. at Moss Service Funeral Home. A celebration of his life will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in Moss Service chapel with Bro. Greg Compton ad Sis. Barbara Trussell officiating. Interment will follow the service at Hopewell Cemetery.
