Margaret was born September 10, 1947 to Marie and Donald Jack in Oak Park, Illinois. On September 12, 1970 she married Frank Willy. They began their married life in the Chicagoland area.
Margaret was an entrepreneur her entire life. A beautician by trade, she owned hair salons until she and her husband moved to Texas in 1986 to own and operate an auto salvage yard in San Antonio. In 2000, they moved back to Illinois, eventually settling in Crystal Lake where she owned yet another business providing home care to homebound people.
Family and her dogs were very important to “Marge”. She had pets her entire life. At the salvage yard in Texas, she and Frank took care of their “junkyard” dogs, dogs that were strays and ended up at their business.
Margaret is survived by her husband of 53 years, Frank Willy, her brother-in-law, Deacon Scott “Honey” Imburgia, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Lorraine Imburgia, Maellen Decker, and Don Jack.
There will be a Memorial Mass at 10am on Thursday, May 25 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 451 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. A luncheon will follow.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.QuerhammerandFlagg.com for the Willy family.
