David Olsen went home to be with the Lord on September 26, 2024. He was married to “The love of his life” Linda for 62 years. They were blessed with their son, Adam. David was born on July 18, 1939 in Chicago, IL to Edna and Harry Olsen. He was the brother to John, Judy and Doug.
David lived in Wonder Lake, IL for the past 21 years. His favorite past times were vacationing and spending time with his wife and all the dogs they had throughout the years. During the warm weather months you would find him outside working on his yard. If he wasn’t in his yard he was on the golf course or watching golf. He also enjoyed playing a great hand of Pinochle.
David leaves behind a very close extended family who is going to miss him dearly. He was loved by his sister and brother in laws along with many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A visitation for David will be held Tuesday, October 1, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake, Illinois 60014. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Windridge Memorial Park, Cary, Illinois.
