Robert P. Sasseville

Robert "Bob" P. Sasseville, age 71, of Cedar Lake, IN passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021. Robert was born September 20, 1950 to the late Jean Paul and Claudine (Bouchard) Sasseville in Asbestos Quebec, Canada.

Robert was a loving and devoted husband, and is survived by his wife of 38 years, Bonnie Sasseville; his brother, Dennis (Norma) Sasseville; many wonderful in-laws; brothers in-law, Gary (Cathy) Bonnema, Alan Bonnema, and Gale (Debra) Bonnem; sister-in-law, Lory (Cliff) Jeffers; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Jean Paul and Claudine Sasseville; brother, Andre Sasseville; sister, Lisa Sasseville; brothers-in-law, Dennis and Gilbert Bonnema.

Robert served this country honorably in the United States Army and was Vietnam Veteran. He worked for Asphalt Service in Griffith for 40 years. Robert enjoyed life and long drives, admiring God’s landscape. His warm smile and fabulous attitude will forever be missed.

A Public Visitation for Robert will be held Wednesday, January 5, 2022 from 10:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:00 PM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN 46307. Deacon Brian Nosbusch will be officiating. A Burial with Military Honors will occur at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens following the Funeral Service.
