RICHARD JOHN KRAMER CROWN POINT, IN Richard John Kramer, age 54, was called home to be with the lord on April 15, 2013. He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Susan A. Kramer (Gray); beloved daughters: Meghan (JD) Faulkner and Melissa (fiance Matthew Jackson) Kramer; dear siblings: Thom (Andrea) Kramer and Kathy (Mike) Coduti; brothers-in-law: Mike (Pat) Gray, Scott (Pam) Gray, and Kevin (Jane) Gray; sisters-in law: Kathy (Terry) Skaggs and Mary Kramer. Uncle to many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents: Robert and Helen Kramer; brother, Robert Kramer; and parents- in-law: Robert and Evelyn Gray. Richard was a graduate of Purdue University class of 1982. He went on to work in Quality Management for 31 years. Rick will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, and Christian. When he was not with his family, he was an avid golfer, softball umpire and he loved his beloved Purdue boilermakers. Rick touched many lives throughout his lifetime. He will never be forgotten. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. DIRECTLY at Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church (7950 Marshall St., Merrillville, IN) with Pastor Gerard Isenberg officiating. Interment Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Friday, April 19, 2013 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Ave., Schererville, IN ) from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Donations in Richard's memory may be made to Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church .
